Hosting Exciting Events and Welcoming Our First Resident

It’s been an exciting month at Yarnley House as we’ve hosted several meaningful events and proudly welcomed our first resident, Beryl. These activities have brought our team, residents, and the local community together, helping raise awareness of Yarnley House and our mission of providing exceptional care.

Sponsored Walk in Aid of Make-A-Wish
Our dedicated team recently completed a sponsored walk from our sister home, Oakdene, back to Yarnley House. This walk was in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a charity very close to our hearts. The event not only raised money for this important cause but also helped spread awareness of Yarnley House within the local community. We are incredibly proud of our team for their effort and commitment to helping children in need.

Macmillan Coffee Morning
To further strengthen our ties with the community, we also hosted a Macmillan coffee morning and invited local businesses and individuals to join us for coffee, cake, and conversation. It was a brilliant event filled with laughter, and we raised nearly £250 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Events like these are so important to us at Yarnley House, as they allow us to give back while connecting with the community we serve.

Welcoming Our First Resident
The highlight of the month was undoubtedly the arrival of our very first resident, Beryl, who has moved to Yarnley House from Cornwall. Beryl is already thoroughly enjoying life here at her new home away from home and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her with us. Welcoming new residents is always a special moment for us, and we look forward to many more joining our family at Yarnley House Care Home.

We are looking forward to continuing to build strong relationships with our community and creating an enriching, welcoming environment for our residents. Book a tour around our care home in Ringwood to explore our first-class facilities and exceptional care services and find out if Yarnley House is the right care home for you or your loved one!
