Respite care is available to older adults who require additional support for a short period of time. It can be arranged for a wide range of reasons, including recovery after a hospital stay, extra support following an illness, or simply to give a family carer a chance to rest and recharge.

Residents are welcomed into our calm and comfortable environment where their needs are fully understood and support is tailored to help them feel settled and valued throughout their stay.

Yarnley House Care Home offers respite care to individuals who require short-term support. This service serves many purposes, including providing temporary assistance for recovery, offering relief to caregivers who need a break from their responsibilities, and allowing individuals to try our Ringwood care home for a few weeks to determine if it’s a suitable fit for permanent care.

Our care services are accessible to all residents, regardless of the duration of their stay. Throughout their time with us, individuals will have a private bedroom, receive meals, partake in engaging activities and entertainment, utilise our in-house facilities, and receive support for their personal needs. When necessary, nursing care is also provided to cater to the specific care needs of someone.

The duration of respite care varies depending on the unique needs of each individual and the availability of respite care beds. At Yarnley House Care Home, we have a minimum stay requirement of 3 weeks. This duration allows residents to acclimate to their new environment and fully benefit from our care services.
